Dive Site Brief:
Petes Reef is named after Pete Peterson who was a pioneer for the dive industry in Guam.
Petes reef is located just outside of Agat Village, and is a spectacular dive. With anemones, hard corals, and a sand channel you will not be disappointed.
Petes Reef is home to many critters, on this dive keep an eye out for red snappers, anemones, octopus, and schooling fish.
With a sloping reef from 10 feet all the way down to 90 feet, this dive site can be drifted north or south. When drifting south towards Facpi point, make sure to have a safety sausage with you, and its always a good idea to deploy this before you reach the point.
CAUTION: The current can be strong and pulling out towards open water and heavy boat traffic, so its recommended to have a Safety Sausage with you!
